Opened April 2016 by Ethiopian team, located in Kazanches and nestled between UN Economic Commission andAphrodite hotel, in what was historically referred to as the Soho of Addis.Our vision is to promote a diverse collection of emerging and established contemporary artists from Ethiopia and from around Africa, as well as to promote contemporary African fine art in the local and international art scene. Our aim is to strengthen the African Creative Cultural Industry in the diplomatic capital of Africa using a fresh twist. The two-story facility, offering 230 sq. meters of space is designed for innovative displays and exhibitions showcasing various forms of media. Additionally, space can be used for special events, workshop, and host discussion panels and art classes.
in Q Concept Store displays and for sale original handicrafts by Ethiopian artisans, predominantly from women, ranging from 23-70years of age. Eighty percent of the handicrafts are made by both able-bodied and disabled, women from vulnerable and testing backgrounds, such as sex work and firewood collecting.In respect to our environment, much of the products, excluding some that are organically and locally sourced, are made using recycled paper, recycled tire tubes, VHS tapes, newspapers etc.DinQ Visit & Be In TouchDinQ store and gallery, committed to the ethos of social and economic sustainability through the arts.
